So you've got a node type, and you only want to render taxonomy terms for a particular vocabulary for it... welp, here's the solution myself and a co-worker recently used:

Add this into your template.php:

<br /> function THEME-NAME_taxonomy_links($node, $vid) {<br /> if (count($node->taxonomy)){<br /> foreach ($node->taxonomy as $term) {<br /> if ($term->vid == $vid){<br /> if (!empty($thelink)){<br /> $thelink .= ' | ';<br /> }<br /> $thelink .= l($term->name, taxonomy_term_path($term));<br /> }<br /> }<br /> return $thelink;<br /> }<br /> }<br />

Then do this inside the node:

print THEME-NAME_taxonomy_links($node,TYPE-VOCAB-ID-HERE)

Viola! You will only render the taxonomy terms from the vocabulary given!
