How to make phone numbers easier to mobile touch
I helped my mother build a very simple website years ago. I'm not going to link to it, because honestly it's pretty miserable. I'm not a designer, I did it in a rush, but it was better than nothing and it serves it's purpose as an online business card for her.
Originally when I built the website, my mom said she didn't want her phone number on it. I advised her she shouldn't turn down any possible avenue allowing people to reach her for the sake of business, but she refused to listen. A few years later, a lady drove up to our house (since she had me post our address) inquiring about what my mother sells. My mom decided it may not be a bad idea to list her phone number.
A big pet peeve of mine is websites with phone numbers that aren't something you can touch on a mobile device. Determining fault would be nice so i could send frustrated hate mail to the person responsible, but there is a fairly strong solution:
Why the difference for cell and home phones (land lines)? No friggen clue. I just know you lead with a +0 for same country phone numbers, and +4 for mobile numbers also in the same country. Enjoy!
